From my experience the only other real competitor in the market is Pricematik. I signed up to a free trail using this link to test the software and provide an overview of my experience below. You can compare the Pricematik software to Profit Scraper by signing up to the free 7 day trial using this link. The act of buying an item and selling it on for a higher price, is by no means illegal and in fact is the cornerstone of our economy. Automatic Ordering costs $0.40 per successful order, in addition to the repricing service fee.

- The act of buying an item and selling it on for a higher price, is by no means illegal and in fact is the cornerstone of our economy.
- Similar to Profit Scraper, Pricematik offers the ability to scrape other eBay sellers.
- The Silk Road began over 2,000 years ago with the likes of silk, cotton, glass, salt etc traded between merchants who would seek to by items in the east and sell them for a higher price in the west.
- As you’ve uploaded the items through Hydro Lister these will automatically be within SKU Grid with standard monitoring functions being undertaken.
If I was to scale the business to say 10,000 items (20 times current amount) I feel that profits in the region of 10 to 20 times current average profit (i.e £730 – £1460 per week) may be achievable. I’m in the process of expanding the number of items and hope to beable to update the blog once this has been done. I’d recommend reading why I’ve recently considered switching to Pricematik.
This community is a place to discuss the business of dropshipping, from the entrepreneur side. It’s a place to share resources, solve problems and have serious discussions on issues we all face. Whilst the product was easy to set up, I questioned a couple of things (to test their responsiveness) and was surprised with the speedy replies from Nick (the founder) in both instances.
We’ve assumed that items within SKU Grid would be checked every 2 hours (the same basis Profit Scraper). The software provides both standard repricing settings reflecting eBay and PayPal fees, as well as more bespoke pricematik review options. Pricematik is the software which I’ve also tested however would only use if Profit Scraper wasn’t available.

PriceYak Review – Should you sign up?
Once you’ve tracked down your first 100 ASINs the following step is relatively simple. You’ll need to insert the ASINs into the PriceYak create listing tab and run the software. The program will automatically upload these items to your eBay and initially price the product at $300 or £300 depending on the destination. As such my net profit, allowing for the various costs and additional revenue, was in the region of £513.95 or £73.42 per week. Note that at the start I had no feedback and as such it has taken a little time to get traction (I currently have 129 feedback from my 327 orders all of which are positive). In addition I only list 500 items in comparison to some of the larger seller who have 50,000 items.
In the 7 weeks I’ve been using Profit Scraper I’ve made an additional £176 in cashback from the card, a definite perk. Once you’ve selected all the items you want to upload, just click upload selected items to eBay in bulk. Note that eBay will not allow you to upload items with certain words in the description (knifes / guns etc) or similarly certain brands so these will need to be deleted. Some titles will also be too long for eBay and will need to be reduced (usually highlighted in red). Once you’ve amended these you’ll be in a position to bulk upload and they should begin to appear on your eBay shop. I’d strongly recommend the Featured shop as you’ll easily reach the free 200 listings with the Profit Scraper software and as such need 1200 free listings.

Once you’ve uploaded your items to PriceYak and subsequently eBay, you can adjust the sourcing settings to determine the minimum guaranteed profit levels per item and also percentage profit margains.
When you sign up for a PriceYak account you are asked to link your eBay shop to allow for full integration across the two platforms. Once you’ve scraped a category you’ll be able to sort through the items and check that they’ve matched correct. I’ve spent some considerable time testing the Pricematik product when Profit Scraper had closed its membership. The software is clean and straight forward to use, with resaonable reliability at a cost which once you list over 2,500 items begins to become every attractive. In the table below I’ve set out the combined cost of Hydra Lister and SKU Grid in comparison to some full service providers on the market.
